# Profile analytics

> See who's viewing your profile and which links they actually click.

Your profile tracks how it's being used. This is the feedback loop that tells you whether a change to your links helped or hurt.

## What's measured

| Metric | Meaning |
| - | - |
| Total views | How many times your profile was opened |
| Taps | How many times your product or profile was shared |
| All links views | Views across every link on your profile |
| Link clicks | Clicks on an individual link |
| Conversion rate | Share of profile views that led to a click |
| Most clicked link | Your single best-performing row |
| Contact saved | How often someone saved your details |
| Contact engagement | Overall interaction with your contact info |
| Locations | Where views came from |

With [direct mode](/en/mobile/links) on, a visitor is sent straight to one link. That visit still counts as a profile view and as a view of that link.

## Time ranges

View any period: today, yesterday, this week, last week, this month, last month, or the last three months. You can also pick a custom date range, and each period compares against the one before it.

<Tip>
  Compare like with like. An event week against a quiet week only tells you that events exist. For event-driven work, compare this conference to the last one.
</Tip>

## Using it well

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="Conversion rate is the number that matters" icon="percent">
    Views measure how often you shared. Conversion measures whether your profile was worth opening. If views are climbing and conversion is flat, the problem is the profile, not your networking.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Move your most clicked link to the top" icon="arrow-up">
    The easiest improvement available. If the thing people want is fourth in your list, most of them never scroll to it.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Delete links nobody clicks" icon="trash">
    A link with hundreds of views and no clicks isn't neutral — it's pushing something useful further down.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Change one thing at a time" icon="flask">
    Reorder your links, then wait a period and compare. Change five things at once and you learn nothing about which one worked.
  </Accordion>

<Note>
  Some analytics require a paid plan. If a section shows a subscribe prompt rather than data, that's a plan boundary rather than a fault. See [Plans and limits](/en/getting-started/plans-and-limits).
</Note>

## Team-wide analytics

Admins see this across everyone under profile activity in [Insights](/en/insights/overview), which is where you'd compare profiles between members rather than periods for one person.
