# Wallet passes

> Keep your Tap profile in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.

Add your profile as a pass to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet and you can share it without unlocking your phone and finding the app — which, in a conversation, is the difference between a smooth exchange and an awkward pause.

## Adding the pass

From the app, add your profile to your wallet. Choose Apple Wallet on iPhone or Google Wallet on Android.

## Why it helps

  <Card title="Faster access" icon="bolt">
    Reachable from the lock screen. No unlocking, no hunting for an app icon.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Works when the app doesn't" icon="battery-quarter">
    Still there in low power mode and on a struggling network.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Familiar to everyone" icon="wallet">
    People already know what a wallet pass is. Nothing needs explaining.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Always current" icon="rotate">
    The pass carries your profile link, so profile edits are reflected without re-adding it.
  </Card>

    It's a faster way to bring up your profile and QR code. A physical Tap tag or card is still the smoothest way to share with someone standing in front of you.

    Deleting the pass from your wallet doesn't affect your profile, your links, or anything you've captured.
