Achievements mark milestones as you use Tap — sharing your profile, capturing connections, completing your setup. Each one tracks progress toward a target and can be claimed once you reach it.

The two tabs

The screen has two halves, and the selector at the top switches between them:

Leaderboard

Where you stand against everyone else, over a period you choose.

Rewards

Your own achievements, grouped into categories, with progress on each.

How an achievement works

Every achievement has a target and shows your current progress toward it, so you can always see how close you are rather than only finding out when it completes. Achievements are grouped into categories, and some carry a points value that counts toward your standing on the leaderboard.
Some achievements are Pro-only and won’t be available on a free plan. They still appear, so you can see what a paid plan would unlock.

Claiming

A completed achievement isn’t automatically collected — you claim it. The app shows how many you have unclaimed, so nothing sits there forgotten.
Check for unclaimed achievements after an event. A conference typically completes several at once — connections captured, profile shares, meetings recorded — and they’ll be sitting there waiting.

Leaderboard

The top three sit on a podium above the list, and everyone else follows in a ranked run below it. Your own row is there to find whether or not you made the podium. The leaderboard ranks users by points over three periods: A period with no activity shows no rankings rather than an empty table of zeroes.
Be careful about turning the leaderboard into a formal target. Points follow activity — captures, shares, meetings — and activity is easy to inflate with low-quality leads that help nobody. It works well as visible momentum during an event, and badly as a performance metric. For actual performance, read action completion, which measures follow-through rather than volume.

Rewards

The Rewards tab is where your own achievements live, grouped into categories rather than listed flat — so related milestones sit together and you can see which category you’re furthest along in. Each card shows the achievement, your progress toward it, and its reward where it carries one. Completed cards are the ones to look for: they’re what you claim.

For team admins

Achievements are a feature of the mobile app, driven by each member’s own activity. They aren’t configured from Tap Teams, and they don’t affect permissions, plan entitlements, or what a member can do. If you want team-level visibility into activity, use Insights rather than the leaderboard — it accounts for territory and event size, which raw points don’t.
